All donations we receive are used to purchase perishable goods, such as: fresh produce, meat, eggs, milk, frozen vegetables; and non-perishable goods to fill out our inventory.
PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE PERISHABLE GOODS IN OUR DONATION BIN.
Instead, call 203-452-2817 to coordinate drop-offs with our Food Pantry Coordinator. This will help us maintain Connecticut Food Bank food safety guidelines. When perishable donations are left in the bin without notice, we cannot determine their storage history, and are thus legally obligated to throw most of them away. We greatly appreciate your support, and would like to continue working with you to help ensure that we provide food to our clients in safe and reliable ways.
