It is the mission of the Monroe Registrars of Voters (ROV) office to guarantee every eligible Monroe voter the opportunity to cast his/her vote in a safe and private environment; to maintain accurate records; to conduct fair and open elections and to remain impartial in all matters.

MUNICIPAL ELECTION

TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 4, 2025

 

 

On Tuesday, November 4, 2025 all four regular polling places will be open 6am – 8pm.

 

District 1: Fawn Hollow Elementary School, 345 Fan Hill Road

District 2: Stepney Elementary School, 180 Old Newtown Road

District 3: Monroe Elementary School, 375 Monroe Turnpike

District 4: Masuk High School, 1014 Monroe Turnpike

EARLY VOTING will also be available in person at the Community Center Site @ 709 Monroe Turnpike (formerly St Jude’s School):

 

October 20 – November 2  10am – 6pm

October 28 & 30 EXTENDED HOURS  8am – 8pm

 


If you are not currently registered to vote and would like to do so, the deadline for registering for the upcoming Municipal Election is Friday, October 17, 2025.

 

The easiest and quickest way to register to vote is online, if you have a valid CT driver’s license, learner’s permit or non-driver photo ID card issued by the CT DMV. Click here to register online. You may also print a voter registration card from our website and mail into the Registrars of Voters’ Office. Mailed applications must be postmarked by October 17, 2025. Or stop by the Registrars of Voters’ Office during regular office hours (Tuesdays 9am – 12pm & Thursdays 12 – 3pm).

 

The Registrars of Voters will also be holding a special voter registration session on Friday, October 17 @ 9am – 8pm in the Registrars of Voters’ Office at Town Hall. Please bring ID and proof of residence. 


 

Same Day Voter Registration 

If you are not registered, but want to vote during the Early Voting period, you may register and vote in person every day of Early Voting at the Early Voting location.

 

If you are not registered, but want to vote on Election Day, you may register and vote in person on Election Day at our Election Day Registration site at Town Hall.

Monroe is very fortunate to have excellent Election Workers. They are people we can depend upon to ensure safe, accurate, secure and accessible elections. We are actively looking to add additional Election Workers to our ranks for all positions and all elections/referenda.
