You may get a Voter Registration Form at either the Registrars' Office, Room 208, or from the Town Clerk's Office at the Monroe Town Hall, located near the Town Green at 7 Fan Hill Road. You can also pick up a form at the Edith Wheeler Memorial Library next door to the Monroe Town Hall. Fill out the form at the town hall or bring it home to fill out later. You can even pick up an extra form for a family member. Please fill out completely, sign, and date the form. Besides your full name and residence address, you must also supply your birth date and either your Connecticut driver's license number or the last 4 digits of your Social Security Number so that your identity can be verified by the CT Department of Motor Vehicles. Deliver your form to either the Registrars' Office or the Town Clerk's Office. To mail this form, fold it in half and tape the edges, affix a stamp and your return address and mail to the Registrars of Voters, 7 Fan Hill Road, Monroe, CT 06468. Remember that you may only register to vote if you are a U.S. citizen.

You can register to vote online if you have a CT driver’s license, learner’s permit or non-driver ID card issued by the Connecticut Department of Motor Vehicles. This is possible because your signature is on file at the CT DMV and when the form is transmitted to the Registrars, it will be complete with your signature. Once your form is received by the Registrars you will receive a confirmation letter.

Once your registration form is received and processed, you will receive a confirmation letter. For faster processing you can bring your form to the Monroe Town Hall in person and deliver it to the Registrar's Office, Room 208, or since the Registrars have limited regular hours, you may deliver your form to the Town Clerk's Office during regular business hours.
