These documents are provided online as a service to the public. Official versions are filed in the office of the appropriate town agency’s office or in the Town Clerk’s Office. Please note that Voting Records are not required if the minutes are filed within 48 hours of the meeting. Meeting Packets are not required to be filed, however they are posted for those boards and commissions that provide an electronic copy of their meeting materials prior to the meeting. Memorial Day Closing
The Monroe Town Hall Offices, Library, Highway Department, Senior Center, and Food Pantry, will be closed on Monday, May 26th in observance of Memorial Day.
Normal hours will resume on Tuesday, May 27th.
All Recycling & Trash pickups will be delayed one day.
The Spring Hill Road transfer station and Garder Road landfill will be open on Saturday, May 24th.
Memorial Day Parade - Sunday - Road Closure
Monroe’s Annual Memorial Day Parade, “Honoring Our Heroes” will take place on Sunday, May 25, 2025 at 1:00 p.m.
There is no rain date. However, in case of rain, the ceremony will still take place at 2:00 p.m. in Council Chambers
Monroe Turnpike will be closed from Elm Street to the Town Green from 12:30 p.m. until approximately 3:00 p.m.
